"In 2014, Nova Scientific Publishers published a study conducted by Laura Stuve PhD, Janet Galipo MA DOM, Honghu Liu PhD, Jie Shen PhD and Jill Gianettoni. The study investigated whether individuals with chronic pain conditions showed improvements in pain, emotional factors, and overall health measures following eight weekly long-distance BodyTalk treatments using the online Patient Reported Outcomes Measurement Information System (PROMIS). The study evaluated 36 subjects, randomized into a treatment (N=19) and a control group (N=17) using a single-blinded design in Phase I of the study, followed by a crossover Phase II where the control subjects were treated."
